Synchronized Skating

---

Team Volant
Team Volant was formed five years ago and was forced to disband last year because of low participation. Synchronized skating involves eight to twenty-four skaters on the ice at the same time. The skaters come together to perform formations such as lines, blocks, circles and wheels with intricate footwork, changing arm and hand holds, deep edges and sharp changes of direction in absolute uniformity. Team Volant was coached by Courtney Gill.

Mini Team Volant
An introduction to the sport of synchronized skating. This will prepare the younger skater for competing with Team Volant or learning to skate together as a group.  It will focus on teamwork and learning the basics of synchronized skating. Practices are on Sundays from 3:45-4:15 p.m. They will begin in October and continue through March.  You must have had at least one year of Learn-To-Skate or participated in the Intro To Figure Skating classes for one year. Mini Team Volant is coached by Courtney Gill.
